My friend's bath tub faucet drips, and has done so for as long as I have known her. She let's it drip into a pink rusty metal watering can and she waters her plants when there is enough. She says it is her "timer" for when to water her plants, and they all seem to stay alive. The rust ring in her bath tub doesn't bother her at all.
